Brown's Leadership to Focus on Continued Business and Digital Transformation
(January 8, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is thrilled to announce Lori Brown as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 1. Brown succeeds Robert Domingues, who has transitioned into the role of Chief Strategic Advisor after more than 25 years of transformative leadership.
Brown, a seasoned executive and member of Littler’s Management Committee, brings a wealth of operational experience and business acumen to her new role. Her background spans several high-level positions, including CEO and COO of ComplianceHR, and Chief Legal Officer and Head of Human Resources at Garda Cash Services, a division of GardaWorld.
As COO, Brown will oversee Littler’s corporate operations, including finance, technology services, marketing and business development, knowledge management, information security, legal product development, human resources, attorney recruiting and development, and real estate. She will also help lead the execution of the firm’s strategic plan, driving operational efficiencies and leveraging technology to deliver enhanced value to clients.
“Lori’s unique blend of firm and in-house leadership experience makes her exceptionally qualified to guide Littler into its next phase of growth,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s Managing Director and President. “Her strategic vision and commitment to client-centric innovation will be instrumental as we continue to navigate an evolving legal landscape. I also want to thank Robert for his unwavering dedication and leadership, which has significantly contributed to Littler’s success over the past two decades and helped position our firm as a global market leader.”
Reflecting on his tenure, Domingues stated: “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as Littler’s COO. Lori’s proven leadership and deep understanding of our firm’s culture will ensure Littler continues to thrive in an ever-changing marketplace.”
Brown’s connection to Littler spans decades. She joined the firm in 2003, serving as a shareholder, Miami Office Managing Shareholder, and member of the Board of Directors. As a practicing attorney, she counseled and defended employers on a range of workplace issues, including discrimination, harassment and wage and hour matters. After gaining business experience at Garda and launching ComplianceHR, where she expanded its offerings to over 20 employment law software platforms, she returned to Littler in 2021 to take on key leadership roles.
“Littler has always been at the forefront of innovation in the legal industry,” said Brown. “In today’s rapidly shifting market, where financial pressures and technological advancements are reshaping client needs, I’m excited to leverage my diverse experiences to drive operational efficiencies and further strengthen our client-centric approach. Robert has left an incredible legacy, and I am honored to build upon it.”
Brown holds a J.D. from Stetson University School of Law and a B.A. from Stetson University.
