Mark Flores is a seasoned and experienced appellate advocate with first-chair experience in both state and federal court proceedings. He has appellate experience across multiple administrative and judicial forums and has filed amicus briefs before the Bureau of Immigration Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mark has likewise presented oral arguments before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Court of Appeals as well as successfully filed Petitions for Writs of Mandamus, obtaining relief for multiple clients in areas related to pre-arbitration discovery and the overturning of a contempt order. 

He also has significant experience as a litigator in the unfair competition and trade secret practice. Mark has also served as first-chair in successfully obtaining a temporary restraining order to enforce a noncompetition agreement in Texas state court and second-chair on multiple occasions.

He has litigation experience successfully defending discrimination lawsuits and has obtained summary judgments, resulting in the dismissal of an age, national origin, race discrimination and retaliation claims in federal court. Mark also has first-chair bench trial experience in complex litigation related to the overturning of an election that involved thousands of documents, more than 20 witnesses and significant briefing.

Additionally, he is active in the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation and Forum on Communications Law.
