PROVIDENCE, R.I. (September 27, 2022) – Eric B. Mack, a shareholder in the Providence office of Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been named Deputy General Counsel, Labor and Employment, for the National Bar Association (NBA). Mack was appointed by the NBA’s General Counsel, Anthony Hall, for the labor and employment practice area.
“I congratulate Eric on his new role as Deputy General Counsel of the National Bar Association,” said Michael Mankes, Providence office managing shareholder. “Eric is an excellent example of the caliber of attorneys we have at Littler, and we look forward to his contributions as he works with the NBA to advance their mission and manage its labor and employment matters.”
In his position, Mack will help support the NBA by using his professional legal knowledge to protect its legal affairs by providing appropriate advice and counsel to associates and management on traditional labor issues and employment matters.
The NBA’s mission is to advance the science of jurisprudence, improve the administration of justice, preserve the independence of the judiciary, and uphold the honor and integrity of the legal profession. While it promotes professional and social interaction among the members of the American and international bars and encourages legislation that will improve the economic condition of all American citizens.

In his employment practice at Littler, Mack regularly counsels employers on day-to-day personnel matters, practices and compliance. Additionally, Mack serves as co-chair of the firm’s Bollo Affinity Group, which supports attorney talent development, diversity recruiting efforts and career advancement strategies for Littler’s Black and African American community. He is also a member of the firm’s Drugs and Alcohol, and Inclusion, Equity and Diversity practice groups.
Mack earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.A. from Tufts University.
