Virginia Woodfork focuses her practice on employment law and maintains a hybrid practice that includes litigating, counseling, and conducting internal investigations. Ginny litigates on behalf of clients before government agencies and in federal and state court.
Her litigation practice involves a broad array of employment and labor matters, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes. Ginny has experience drafting position statements, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and dispositive motions. She also has experience conducting direct and cross examinations of witnesses in court and taking and defending depositions.
Ginny regularly counsels on a range of employment matters. She drafts and reviews employment-related agreements and policies, including employee handbooks and severance agreements. She also assists employers in conducting internal investigations of employee complaints.
While in law school, Ginny served as president of the Black Law Students Association, and was a member of the appellate clinic and ABA Representation in Mediation and Negotiation teams.
Prior to joining Littler, Ginny spent seven years litigating employment and commercial business cases at a national boutique labor and employment law firm in Denver, Colorado, as well as a full-service law firm in St. Louis, Missouri.
