Todd Church is Practice Group Director for Littler’s Unfair Competition & Trade Secrets group. He works closely with the practice group co-chairs and key corporate departments in the areas of strategic planning, talent acquisition and development, marketing, group profitability, and day-to-day operations. Littler’s subject matter professionals have built the group to be amongst the top firms handling the most trade secret and restrictive covenant matters across the country, and Todd’s focus is to further build upon the firm’s preeminent position in this practice area.
Todd previously spent over twelve years as an associate and shareholder at Littler, focusing on restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, but also representing employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters. Notably, he was a member of the Littler trial team that won a multimillion dollar verdict in Minnesota state court after a one week jury trial in 2015, one of the largest verdicts ever awarded in a restrictive covenant matter in that state.
In addition to his firm experience, Todd also worked in-house as associate general counsel in employment law for a national restaurant and hospitality company, where he handled issues ranging from day-to-day human resources counseling and managing litigation to labor relations and collective bargaining. Todd also served as a law clerk to the Hon. William J. Bauer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
