Overview

Robert F. Millman joined Littler in the fall of 1974 upon graduation from law school and is currently a senior shareholder at the law firm. As the founder of the firm’s two Los Angeles offices and former chair of Littler’s Board of Directors, he has been an integral part of the growth, development and success of Littler for almost 50 years. Littler now has the largest number of labor and employment attorneys in Southern California.

As a result of Bob’s years of experience, C-suites, senior executives, and corporate boards nationwide often look to Bob for advice and counsel on sensitive, difficult and complex employment issues. Clients are impressed by Bob’s ability to solve workplace problems and challenges, no matter how difficult or complex. As a result of a significant increase in union organizing, Bob has been increasingly involved in national union-organizing campaigns and training employers to create employee-friendly workplaces.

Additionally, Bob offers compliance counseling and advice designed to prevent labor and employment litigation and provides clients with employment law training. He also helps management develop employment law problem prevention modules and policies. Bob works with clients in all industries across the country.

Bob is frequently recognized as one of the deans of the management labor and employment bar in California. Employers across the nation seek out his counsel and guidance, while prominent media outlets regularly seek out his experience and knowledge on labor and employment issues. He has been listed as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal and the San Francisco Daily Journal, and has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Management Labor Attorneys in the United States by the National Law Journal.
