
Miguel A. Lopez focuses his litigation practice on high-stakes disputes concerning trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenants, and unfair competition, as well as incentive compensation and executive compensation disputes. He also advises clients on matters involving the protection of proprietary information, contingent workforce and independent contractor arrangements, and incentive compensation. He litigates in federal and state courts, and has arbitrated at FINRA, JAMS and the American Arbitration Association.
Miguel has extensive experience working with clients in the technology, media, and healthcare sectors, among others, and has a special interest in start-up and gig-economy businesses.
From 2012 to 2014, Miguel served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Ursula Ungaro of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
