Overview

Maayan Deker has more than ten years of experience representing and counseling employers in various aspects of wage and hour laws as well as traditional employment law, including race, age, sex, national origin, disability, and pregnancy discrimination and harassment matters. She has successfully litigated cases from inception through summary judgment, both in federal and state courts and in arbitration. Maayan also has significant experience drafting and revising multistate employer policies and handbooks and advising clients on compliance with constantly changing employment law. 

Maayan is a member of Littler’s Workplace Health and Safety Practice Group and advises and defends employers surrounding workplace health and safety incidents. She also assists employers in developing and implementing health and safety policies and responding to agency workplace safety investigations.

Maayan is also a member of Littler’s COVID-19 Task Force and Return-to-Work Team and regularly assists clients in navigating COVID specific restrictions and reopening requirements.
