Kim L. Carter regularly represents California employers in an array of employment related matters, including cases involving wage and hour disputes, claims of discrimination and harassment, sexual battery and assault, wrongful terminations, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. She represents clients in complex class action cases, as well as single plaintiff litigation matters in both federal and state court, and before administrative tribunals. In addition, Kim successfully represents clients in private arbitrations and mediations.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Kim was employed by a global insurance carrier, working with human resource and risk managers as a workers’ compensation insurance adjuster. As an insurance adjuster, she oversaw the litigation of high-compensable matters and she forecasted claim exposures to ensure matters were properly valuated and efficiently resolved. In addition, she served as a union shop steward in both government and private sectors. Her prior work experience has allowed Kim to draw from a wealth of knowledge to provide a foundation for her service as a strong and zealous advocate for management clients.
