John H. Adams, Jr. represents clients in a broad range of employment law and labor matters. John has experience in both single-plaintiff and class action litigation, including cases involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations and violations under the Private Attorneys General Act. John aggressively defends clients in state and federal courts, binding arbitration and administrative forums. He also has extensive experience resolving cases through negotiation and mediation.
Prior to joining Littler, John worked at a Bay Area law firm where his practice focused on all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-filing through appeal, with a particular emphasis on business and commercial matters.
During law school, John externed for the Hon. Garland E. Burrell, Jr. in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California. He taught written and oral advocacy skills to second-year law students in the McGeorge Appellate and International Advocacy Program, was a member of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court, and served as associate articles editor for the Pacific McGeorge Global Business & Development Law Journal. Prior to law school, he was a journalist, most recently as the Sunday sports editor for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
