Jean-Martial Buisson

Jean-Martial Buisson advises and represents a wide range of employers in various labor and employment law matters. He represents some of the biggest companies in the airline, aeronautic, agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as public agencies. He has represented clients in all French courts, including civil, administrative, criminal and social security courts.

Jean-Martial has handled more than 300 labor cases, including litigation related to:

  • Termination of high-level employees and expatriates
  • Collective bargaining matters
  • Labor disputes
  • Discrimination and harassment

Jean-Martial provides proactive advice to both local and international companies with operations in France on a variety of subjects such as implementation of Employee Saving Plans, employment planning, amicable termination procedures, dismissals, reorganizations and reductions in force.

He performs labor audits, allowing his clients to verify that they are complying with obligations under France’s social and labor laws, thereby estimating and preventing liabilities.

Jean-Martial has received many prestigious awards for his work from institutions such as The Legal 500. He has authored articles on a variety of labor law topics for nationwide French labor news journals including EFL and Jurisprudence Sociale Lamy.
