Jayme A. Duque focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, including advice and counsel work, conducting harassment training sessions, and overseeing workplace investigations. She also assists on traditional labor matters, including negotiating and advising on collective bargaining issues and serving as legal counsel in contractual grievance and unfair labor practice charges.
Jayme has extensive experience representing school districts, including serving as legal counsel regarding IDEA and Section 504 issues. Jayme has defended school districts at IEP meetings, as well as provided representation in the various stages of due process matters including resolution sessions, mediations, and prehearing conferences.
During law school, Jayme interned at the EEOC in Seattle where she interviewed charging parties and respondents, and analyzed evidence presented.
