Jacob Gibson represents employers in all areas of employment law, with an emphasis on litigation in federal and state courts involving:
- Unfair competition
- Theft of trade secrets and other property
- Noncompetition and nonsolicitation agreements
- Confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements
- Duties of loyalty
- Discrimination, harassment and retaliation
Jacob also provides counsel to employers on topics such as handbooks and policies, workplace investigations, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants.
Before joining Littler, Jacob practiced at an AmLaw 100 firm in the southeast, where he focused on management-side employment law and general commercial litigation.
During law school, Jacob served as judicial intern to then-Chief Justice Sharon G. Lee of the Tennessee Supreme Court and as an editor for the Boston University Law Review.
