Hyun Lee represents and advises clients on various employment matters arising under federal, state, and local law, including but not limited to accommodation, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair competition, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims. Hyun also advises clients on a wide range of employment matters such as background checks, contingent workforce, employee handbooks and policies, hiring, international employment, pay equity and transparency, performance management, privacy, restrictive covenants, separation, trade secrets, wage and hour compliance, and worker classifications.
In addition to her counseling and litigation practice, Hyun is experienced in performing pre-acquisition due diligence for M&A matters, identifying employment-related liabilities, obligations, and risks that may impact a corporate transaction, and preparing various employment-related agreements, handbooks, and policies.
Hyun previously worked at a global law firm as part of the firm’s international employment group. Her practice focused on counseling employers on a broad range of employment matters and advising on M&A matters as an employment specialist.
During law school, Hyun worked for multiple business clients on a variety of business, intellectual property, employment, and international trade matters.
