Daniel Smith focuses his practice on labor and employment law matters.
Prior to joining Littler, Dan worked for another national labor and employment firm. Over the course of his career, Dan has represented a variety of employers ranging from local small businesses to Fortune 400 companies. Dan’s litigation experience includes a wide variety of matters before state and federal courts, administrative bodies, and arbitration. He has experience in single-plaintiff wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination claims; wage and hour claims, including complex class and representative actions; noncompetition claims; and other common law tort-based claims. Dan’s background also includes litigation in judicially coordinated proceedings across multiple jurisdictions, and he has litigated cases in California, Texas, and Illinois. He has also served as second chair at trial.
