Overview

Cirrus Jahangiri counsels and represents employers in a diverse range of labor and employment matters, including actions brought under Title VII and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) for claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Cirrus also has experience defending against complex wage and hour class action and PAGA lawsuits. Cirrus has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts, as well as before numerous administrative agencies. His experience in traditional labor makes him a key resource for union-related matters. He assists clients in collective bargaining negotiations, union election and campaigns, and provides counsel on various labor issues.

In addition to his litigation and labor experience, Cirrus regularly advises clients on employment issues, including developing and maintaining workplace policies, handling employee discipline and performance issues, providing disability accommodations, and issues relating to reductions in force.

Cirrus is also deeply committed to pro bono work, demonstrating his dedication to giving back to the community and making a positive impact beyond his professional responsibilities. He has worked on various pro bono matters, including guardianship, immigration, and labor counseling.

During law school, Cirrus served as a judicial extern for Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero of the California Supreme Court and Justice Thomas Goethals of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three.
