Ashley N. Farris advises and represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters before federal and state courts, federal agencies, and state employment agencies. Her practice primarily focuses on:
- Union organizing campaigns and elections under the National Labor Relations Act
- Labor relations strategy and vulnerability audits
- Collective bargaining
- Unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board
- Labor grievances and arbitrations, including disciplinary and contract interpretation matters
- Federal and state discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters related to Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Missouri Human Rights Act
While in law school, Ashley worked as a legal intern at a Fortune 500 energy corporation where she focused on internal corporate governance and labor relations. In addition, Ashley was a student clerk for Judge Henry Autrey of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. She was a member of the National Health Law Moot Court Competition Team and received the Dean’s Select Scholarship, Academic Excellence Award, and was named to the Dean's List.
