2021 was the year of the Great Resignation. 2022 brought the year of "quiet quitting." What new workplace trend will usher in the new year: "loud layoffs" or "quiet hiring?" With studies showing that 91% of CEOs predict a recession within the next year - and only 34% of them believe it will be mild - employers are using both of these new phenomena to combat uncertain economic conditions.
