The second annual Littler AI Summit, A Practical Roadmap to Intelligent Use of AI in the Workplace, is designed specifically for executives in artificial intelligence, data, hiring, human resources, legal, recruiting, sourcing, and talent.

2023 is the year of AI and employers are front-line participants in almost every new development. Predictive AI tools continue making inroads into process automation and enhancement, moving from application analyses and video interviewing to job and candidate matching, organization-wide skill mapping, performance management, and even succession planning. Meanwhile, Generative AI tools like ChatGPT are the new kids on the block, their conversational interfaces brimming with potential – but what dangers lurk behind democratization of AI access? And after a year of regulatory headlines dominated by New York City, California, and a handful of other states, the Feds are once again stirring, with the EEOC, DOL, DOJ, CFPB, FTC, NIST, and even Congress and the White House stepping up their scrutiny of all things AI.

Now the theoretical becomes real and corporate leaders need what this Summit delivers: a practical roadmap to help navigate the new workplace, evaluate the risks of proposed AI tools and uses, understand the nuances of emerging AI laws, and drive towards an intelligent AI investment strategy, balancing the benefits of AI implementation with compliance and litigation risks that are emerging at the local, state, federal, and global levels.

Labor and Employment Implications
Savvy employers should take a proactive approach to determine how to best integrate generative AI and other machine learning into their operations. Learn more in the Littler Report on Generative AI.
